The Richmond Fellowship Scotland makes a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Downfield Street service as Bank Support Practitioner. Our bank contracts will give you flexibility over the days and hours you work. Tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit.

Due to the nature of this role, we can only accept applications from male candidates who hold a manual driving license and have access to a car.

The role:

As a Support Practitioner, you will predominantly be supporting a male service user with an acquired brain injury. He wants to experience and enjoy life and to do things and visit places of interest. Our service user will be supported on a 2:1 ratio.

As well as supporting this particular individual, the successful candidate will, at times, support other service users across the service.

To be an amazing Support Practitioner, we’ll need you to:

  • Have an empathetic and caring nature
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own
  • Good organisational skills

Shift Patterns:

Our dedicated team provide tailored support 24/7 and shift patterns include working days, evenings, sleepovers, wakened nights, weekends and bank/public holidays.
