We have a great opportunity within The Richmond Fellowship Scotland for a Team Manager to join our dynamic management team in our brand-new service in Dyce, Aberdeen.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a brand-new bespoke service supporting 8 individuals to live independently in their own tenancies.
Coming back to the local authority area, our new service, Stoneywood (Dyce), is a bespoke build where person-centred support will be given to individuals with complex needs in their own properties.
The Role
As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for creating effective relationships with stakeholders, as well as ensuring TRFS is effectively represented within key partnership forums. You will contribute to the strategic development and management of existing services, ensuring they meet and exceed regulatory requirements, while assisting the Area Manager to develop and implement strategic planning in line with the programme of continual development in both practice and policy.
Previous experience in management within a care setting and supporting individuals with a wide range of support needs is essential. Your strongest skills need to be in leading a team of Senior Support Workers and staff teams, focusing on measurable quality outcomes for the staff teams as well as the individuals supported.
You will be required to have a relevant qualification for the post as defined by the SSSC – and be willing to work towards SVQ level 4 in Care / Management.
