The Salvation Army provides support and emergency accommodation for adults experiencing homelessness in Glasgow. We are looking for a Programme Manager to join our team at Huntershill Court Lifehouse, a 14-flat supported accommodation service.
As Programme Manager, you will lead a key area of the support programme, helping clients achieve positive outcomes while supporting the delivery of a high-quality, cost-effective service.
You will manage and develop support staff, oversee case management, client records, risk management and multi-agency working, and build effective relationships with partner agencies and internal stakeholders. You will also support financial controls, help clients manage charges and remain debt free.
We are looking for a candidate who is able to demonstrate:
- Experience managing and delivering services for vulnerable people with complex support needs, including holistic assessment, risk assessment and support planning.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop staff teams.
- Good knowledge of homelessness, related support services, welfare benefits and housing-related benefits.
- Strong communication, organisational, partnership-working, IT and numerical skills, including Microsoft Office, client databases and budget monitoring.
- A relevant qualification at level 3 or above in Health and Social Care or a related field, or willingness to work towards one.
- Ability to work within and promote the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army.
Why us?
You will join a dedicated team committed to transforming lives through trauma-informed, strengths-based support rooted in The Salvation Army’s values.
If you have the skills and experience to lead this support programme, we would love to hear from you.
