About the Role

Individual Placement and Support (IPS): Co located and integrated within partner agencies such as Community Mental Health Teams or Drug and Alcohol Partnerships. Predominantly working to the IPS delivery model on a 1:1 basis with clients

You will manage a small caseload of clients to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment, and/or other outcomes, as detailed within the Service Level Agreement. You will provide person centred advice and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers, referral and partner agencies.

You will work as part of and in collaboration with support services, maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery.

What we are looking for

We are looking for individuals who are outgoing and confident in working with people who may have barriers to finding employment from confidence all the way through to managing their mental health around the workplace.

Experience in supporting people to find and sustain employment, training or voluntary work is critical to this role, as is an understanding of mental health problems. The role will take place in the areas all over North Lanarkshire and will require travel to meet with our clients in public settings such as libraries, café’s etc. Access to a car is essential.
