Personal Assistant (Evening & Weekend) - SDS/KRD/276497

This role is restricted to female applicants under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 due to the personal care elements involved.

Hours: 3.5 hours per week (Friday evenings and alternate weekends)

Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour

Are you kind, caring, and looking for a flexible role where you can truly make a difference? We’re looking for a Personal Assistant to support a 39-year-old woman with severe ME and allergies.

About the Role

This role involves supporting our client with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping while building trust and routine. Initially, she is confined to bed but requires supervision for safe transfers to the bathroom.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing and changing.
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping tasks.
• Providing medication assistance.
• Supporting routine-building and encouraging new activities.

• Membership in the PVG scheme (or willingness to obtain it).
• Flexibility to adapt working hours in collaboration with our client.
