5 hours every second weekend (flexible) additional hours available school holidays.

Are you a caring, fun-loving, and reliable individual looking to make a real difference? We are seeking a Personal Assistant to support a delightful 7-year-old girl in enjoying social activities and exploring the world around her!

About the Role:

Your role will involve helping this wonderful little girl enjoy outings like swimming, visiting the park, and other fun activities. She has ASD, ADHD, and a learning disability, which means she is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair when out and about. She requires assistance with personal care, such as getting dried and changed after swimming, and she needs your support to stay safe due to her lack of risk awareness.

This is a fulfilling role where you can build a special bond, help her explore her world, and make every outing memorable! Her family is flexible with hours and would love to find the right person who can connect with her and provide the support she needs.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Patient, kind, and compassionate.

• Reliable and has a good sense of humour.

• Positive and flexible in their approach to work.

• Comfortable with personal care tasks.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.

Essential Requirements:

• Member of the PVG Scheme or willingness to complete a PVG check.

• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care.

• Accompanying her to fun activities like swimming and the park.

• Suggesting and planning new activities.

• Helping her stay safe while out and about.
