Care Support Practitioner - Fife

Sense Scotland is recruiting now for housing support services in Finglassie, Auchtermuchty and Kelty.

We support a number of adults with complex communication needs. Each individual lives in a shared home and need Support Practitioners to help them in every area of their lives.

Each individual has their own complex needs including, but not limited to, visual/hearing impairment, physical and learning disabilities, epilepsy, diabetes and con-genital rubella syndrome.

Our purpose is to provide a service which promotes individuals independence, listens and responds to their aspirations and needs, and offers opportunities to learn, have experiences and most importantly, have fun!

Experience is not required; your values, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are much more important to us, the people that we support and their families.

We offer extensive training to support and develop all of our new staff to become confident, competent support practitioners.

Day to Day you will;

• Adhere to the wishes, aspirations and needs of the people you are supporting.
• Assist with various daily tasks such as personal care, moving and assisting, administering medication and meal preparation.
• Plan, attend and participate in a range of fun and engaging activities such as art, mu-sic, travel, swimming, shows and concerts and sensory experiences.
• Work with your team, families and other professionals to consistently review services and ensure you are providing the best quality care
• Maintain accurate, up to date daily recordings and guidance

Shift times vary from 7:30am to 10pm, start and finishing times across a variety of early, late, mid and nightshifts.
