Facilities Officer - Glasgow

About the role

As a Facilities Officer at Sense Scotland, you will be responsible for managing the physical environment and maintenance requirements across Sense Scotland sites in the West covering mainly Glasgow. However, travel to other areas as part of the wider facilities and health and safety team is expected when necessary.

Duties of the Facilities Officer will include

• Be the main point of contact for tradesmen and suppliers within specific locations either east or west of the country.
• Use and input data into systems including Microsoft Planner and Excel and undertake regular maintenance checks at various Sense Scotland sites.
• Observe safe working practices and ensure a safe environment for the people we support and staff.
• Operate within current Health & Safety legislation as required and with the Health and Safety team.
• Monitor and maintain safe working practices and have an understanding of the compliance required under Health and Safety regulations.
• Provide key-holding services, as required.
