About the Service
Our Strathbungo Supported Living Service provides high-quality, person-centred support to six adults with complex needs, primarily deafblind, some of whom do not communicate verbally.
We are proud to have achieved a Care Inspection grade of 6 – Excellent and to be recognised as Team of the Year 2025.
Who You’ll Support
You’ll support four women (aged 30–60) and two men, living independently in flats in the Strathbungo area. Individuals may have conditions such as epilepsy, deafblindness and mobility needs. Support is provided on a 1:1 basis, at home and in the community.
Those we support are sociable, fun-loving and enjoy shopping trips, cinema nights, discos, local walks and holidays—there’s never a dull day!
The Role
You’ll build trusted relationships and support individuals to live independently and achieve their goals. Duties include:
- Personal care, medication, meal preparation and household tasks
- Supporting finances and daily routines
- Encouraging independence and choice
- Community activities and social events
- Maintaining records and working closely with families and professionals
Shifts & Hours
- Up to 37 hours per week (23 shifts per month)
- Mix of early (07:30–14:30) and late (14:30–21:30) shifts
- Some weekend work and sleepover duties required
- Service operates 24/7, 365 days a year
