Male Support Worker - East Dunbartonshire Outreach

About the service

Our Outreach service operates within a community-based setting, providing personalised support to individuals by enabling and promoting independent living. Focussing on empowering individuals to live as independently as possible by offering assistance tailored to their needs and personal goals, we are looking for a *Male Support Worker offering 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities of the Support Worker will include:

• Healthcare Support: Assist with healthcare needs, including medication administration and personal care, ensuring the well-being of individuals.
• Encouraging Independence: Promote independence and personal growth by following Support Plans tailored to each individual's needs and goals.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily tasks and activities, ensuring clear documentation of progress and support provided.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with colleagues, families, and individuals to deliver high-quality care and support, fostering a team-oriented approach.

Service operational hours

Our service operates 7 days a week, offering flexible working hours between 8:00am and 10:00pm. Many of the services start at the individuals homes which span across the Great Glasgow Area.
