Support Worker - Dundee Respite

About the service

Dundee Respite is a 3-bed, 24-hour service supporting individuals with a range of complex needs, including communication support, behavioural support and sensory impairment. We provide respite breaks 7 days a week, all year round.

Who we are looking for

The people we support are looking for Support Workers who are fun, creative and enthusiastic about planning activities that reflect their individual interests, routines and choices. They enjoy getting out and about and trying new things – from trips to the cinema, feeding the ducks at the park, to even heading on a bus trip to Arbroath for lunch.

Shift pattern

Enjoy a varied shift pattern with a supportive team rota designed to promote a healthy work-life balance. You'll typically work 4 days out of 7, with up to 3 sleepovers per month, giving you plenty of time to enjoy life outside of work.

Occasionally, you may be required to work a waking night shift to cover annual leave or training. Where possible, advance notice will be provided.

Shift Times

• Early: 7:30am to 2:30pm
• Late: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
• Sleepover: 10:00pm to 7:30am (paid at your normal hourly rate)
