Our friendly teams in Ellon are dedicated to empowering adults with complex needs to live as independently and joyfully as possible. We support individuals with a range of needs, including epilepsy, autism, Angelman syndrome, and learning disabilities, across two welcoming multi‑occupancy homes — one supporting three people and the other supporting two.

What your new role looks like

As a Support Worker with Sense Scotland, you’ll provide person‑centred, high‑quality care tailored to each individual. Every day brings variety, purpose, and the chance to build meaningful relationships.

Your support will include:

  • Personal care
  • Medication management
  • Finance support
  • Social and leisure activities
  • Household tasks
  • Promoting independence and wellbeing

Because the people we support enjoy a wide range of activities in the community, a driving licence is essential for this role.

Shift Patterns

To provide consistent and flexible support, you’ll work a mix of the following shifts:

  • 8:00am – 10:00pm
  • 8:00am – 8:00am (includes sleepover)
  • 7:00am – 9:30pm
  • 8:00am – 3:30pm

We also offer 5-hour activity shifts, usually 9:30am – 2:30pm, with occasional later times depending on planned activities.
