Sense Scotland is looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join our team, supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives.

About the service

PHEW Scotland delivers high-quality short break (respite) care in a welcoming 14-bed unit. We provide safe, person-centred support, empowering individuals to make choices and enjoy meaningful, inclusive experiences.

The role

Working in a fully equipped respite unit, you will:

• Deliver person-centred care with dignity and respect
• Support personal care, health, wellbeing and daily activities
• Encourage independence, choice and community involvement
• Work collaboratively with families and the wider team

Hours available

• Full-time (37 hrs), part-time and relief roles
• Mix of day, late, long-day and night shifts via a supportive staff rota

About you

• Passionate about supporting others
• Positive, reliable and a strong team player
• Good communication skills and ability to use initiative
• Organised with a strong work ethic
• Experience welcome but not essential
