Support Worker - Saltcoats

Ayrshire Care at Home and Housing Support Services

Sense Scotland supports adults with communication support needs and/or physical and learning disabilities across Ayrshire. We currently provide Care at Home and Housing Support services to five individuals living in their own homes across Stevenston, Saltcoats, and Irvine.

• Supporting communication and helping individuals express their needs and choices
• Assisting with mobility
• Supporting with eating, drinking, and personal care where required
• Promoting independence and encouraging participation in community activities
• Working closely with families and other professionals to provide high-quality, person-centred support

Additional Information

• The people we support have access to their own vehicles, so a full, clean driving licence is desirable.
• Shifts are 12 hours from 8am-8pm via a team rota system

While there will be opportunities for lone working on a 1:1 basis, you'll receive regular support from peers, supervisors, and managers. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as we provide a comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and regular support check-ins.
