Team Leader – Children’s Services (Part Time) - Kinning Park, Glasgow | Sense Scotland

Are you an experienced, compassionate leader ready to make a real difference in children’s lives? Sense Scotland is recruiting two part‑time Team Leaders to join our Children’s Services team in Kinning Park.

About the Role

You’ll lead and support a dedicated team delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care for school‑aged children and young people with complex needs, including Autism, learning difficulties, epilepsy, and communication or sensory needs. Working directly on shift, you’ll help create a safe, nurturing and fun environment through engaging activities such as sensory play, arts and crafts, and creative sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example to ensure high‑quality, individualised support
• Supervise, coach and develop staff on shift
• Oversee support plans, rotas, records and compliance
• Work closely with families to deliver flexible, person‑centred care
• Support the delivery of stimulating, creative activities

Hours:

20 hours per week with a A mix of afternoons, evenings and weekends, including approximately 2 weekends in every 4.

About You

• Significant experience supporting people with complex needs
• SVQ Social Services & Health Care SCQF Level 6 or above (essential), with willingness to work towards Level 7
• Confident leader with strong communication, IT and organisational skills
• Commitment to person‑centred practice and staff development
• Flexible to work varied shifts
