As our service continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Coordinator who shares our values and wants to help shape high-quality, person-led support.

The Role:

You’ll take the lead on coordinating daily care delivery, supporting frontline teams, and helping families feel confident in the service we provide. This role involves balancing operational demands with a strong focus on quality, outcomes, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and manage staff rotas to ensure safe, uninterrupted support.
  • Maintain oversight of care quality, checking that practice reflects individual care plans and Scottish health and social care standards.
  • Work closely with clients and families, reviewing changing needs and helping shape person-led support.
  • Offer guidance and day-to-day leadership to care staff, encouraging good practice and professional growth.
  • Support ongoing training and development to meet Care Inspectorate expectations.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records and oversee scheduling systems.
  • Respond to emergencies, service gaps, or concerns in a calm and solution-focused way.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in care coordination, ideally within the Scottish health and social care sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confident communicator who can build positive relationships with clients, families, staff, and partner agencies.
  • Knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and relevant legislation.
  • Experience using digital rostering or scheduling systems.
  • Compassionate approach with the ability to lead by example.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • SVQ Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience writing or reviewing care plans and risk assessments.
  • Understanding of Scottish regulatory frameworks, including safeguarding and adult protection.
  • Leadership or management training (e.g., ILM Level 3).
  • Confidence using systems such as People Planner or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting compliance, audits, and record-keeping.
  • Ability to manage resources and budgets effectively.
