Make a Real Difference Every Day

At Support for Ordinary Living (SOL), we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a life filled with choice, independence, connection, and purpose.

We're looking for caring, reliable, and motivated Mobile Support Workers to join our growing team across North Lanarkshire. This is a rewarding role supporting people with physical disabilities and additional support needs to live independently in their own homes and communities.

No two days are the same, and the support you provide can make a genuine difference to someone's daily life.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Mobile Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support at key times throughout the day, helping people with essential daily tasks such as:

✅ Personal care and medication support

✅ Preparing meals and refreshments

✅ Light household tasks

✅ Promoting independence, dignity, and choice

✅ Supporting people to remain safe and well in their own homes

✅ Building positive relationships with the people you support, their families, and professionals

✅ Maintaining accurate digital records

This role requires flexibility, strong organisational skills, and the ability to respond to changing priorities throughout the day.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in people with the right values and attitude above all else.

You will be:

  • Compassionate, respectful, and person-centred
  • Reliable and committed to making a difference
  • Adaptable and able to work independently
  • A positive team player with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable using digital systems and technology
  • Willing to complete training, SVQ qualifications, and SSSC registration requirements

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
