Salary £29,829.80 per annum

Brief Description of Duties:

Tayside Council on Alcohol was established in 1972 and is one of the leading providers of support services in the Tayside area for people who are affected by the use of alcohol. Our Vision is “Empowered Individuals, families and communities are connected, active, safe and healthy”

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the post holder will sit as part of the TCA Operational Management team and will take the lead responsibility for; 

•  The day-to-day management of the operational delivery and effectiveness of the Counselling and Creative Therapies services within the Dundee locality. This includes management of cases and referrals. 
• As part of a team support the delivery and development of the Counselling in School provision 
• The development of counselling and creative therapies in line with best practice and national guidance, contributing a level of expertise and specialism to strategic planning and funding applications as required 
• Liaison with COSCA, BACP and other relevant professional bodies. This will include overseeing the delivery of training programmes within the organisation, primarily (but not exclusively) the COSCA counselling skills programme.
