Job Purpose

Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active, and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them.

Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Job Details

We are looking for personal assistant to join the team of Wellbeing Practitioners that support an easy-going gentleman who loves all things musical.

He is a very talented musician and loves to sing and play the piano and accordion. He loves socialising and going to live folk sessions and concerts as well as researching music on his computer. He enjoys day trips further afield in his car, the occasional holiday, following the football and sometimes going to matches. Please note this is a pool position.

About this opportunity

The gentleman has a visual impairment and uses a wheelchair. He is confident and comfortable getting around in his own home.

Support is provided 24/7 9am to 9am the following day with sleepover. Pool staff would work full or partial shifts alongside the team to provide support for sickness and emergencies. Flexibility is important in this position.
