Ready for your next step in social care?

Dumfries & Galloway Learning Disabilites Service, Hera Grange is a busy, vibrant, core and cluster learning disabilities service where people live in their own homes, hold their own tenancies and receive 24-hour support to live life the way they choose.

If you’re looking for a role where you can develop your leadership skills, make your mark and help shape a service that makes a real difference, this could be the opportunity for you.

We’re looking for

  • An Assistant Service Coordinator to work alongside our Service Coordinator and help lead the team day to day.
  • Strong social care experience and ready to take the next step into a leadership role.
  • Approachable, organised and confident enough to guide and support others day to day.
  • Can listen carefully to the team and keep the people we support at the heart of decisions.

What you’ll do

  • Be a visible part of the service, supporting staff and guiding good practice day to day.
  • Help with rotas, problem solving and keeping the service running smoothly.
  • Support the team to grow, improve and keep thinking about how we can do things better.
  • Help the people we support manage their home, go shopping, plan a holiday, attend a concert or simply have the right support for a good day.
  • Help the people we support stay connected to their community, their friends, their families and the things they enjoy.

At Hera Grange, we want people to enjoy full and meaningful lives — not just receive good care. That means being creative, ambitious and person-centred in everything we do. Could you help us continue making Hera Grange a great place to live and a great place to work?

We’d love to hear from you!
