We are looking for an individual who can use their working hours to maximum efficiency. It is crucial to uphold a meticulous cleaning routine throughout the premises to the highest standards. This involves maintaining cleaning equipment and promptly reporting any issues to the administrative team. Key aspects include task prioritisation and showcasing the capability to work autonomously. Collaborating with administrative staff to ensure timely replenishment of cleaning supplies is equally important.
Our Turning Point Service based in Lockerbie is a service which supports adults with Learning Disabilities. The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.
As a cleaner you will be expected to maintain clean environments for both staff and people we support. You will come into contact with the people we support who have a wide range of communication from verbal/non verbal and will learn how to adapt your communication to engage with people we support.
Please note that IT skills are required for all our vacancies.
Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.
