As a Health and Wellbeing Manager, you will be the registered manager responsible for the overall management of our innovative, co-created services. You will lead dedicated teams that our services are designed around the individual outcomes and aspirations of the people we support. Your role will involve developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards to provide excellent support to the people we work for.
The key responsibilities of this role are to:
· manage and develop personalised, outcome-focused services for individuals with a range of support needs;
· implement and oversee relevant policies, procedures, and operational systems;
· achieve the aims and objectives of services in line with our organisational values and principles;
· lead and manage teams, ensuring high standards of practice and service delivery;
· provide efficient financial, administrative, and resource management;
· foster excellent communication and partnerships with partner agencies and local communities;
· promote and publicise the work of the service positively; and
· identify and develop new service growth opportunities both locally and nationally.
We are looking for candidates who have recent experience in supporting multiple client groups, working with partners to ensure an excellent service to people we support and have a working knowledge of implementing and auditing effective outcome planning systems.
You will have strong understanding of outcome-based supervision and workforce development having led and managed teams with various grades of staff promoting a positive culture.
You will have or be willing to work towards appropriate qualifications for the post as defined by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) including a recognised Leadership and Management qualification within an agreed time scale. You will be able to demonstrate commitment to Continued Professional Development.
