We're looking for an experienced and inspirational Health & Wellbeing Manager to lead our specialist Lanarkshire Self-Directed Support Services, supporting adults across the region to achieve positive outcomes and live the lives they choose.

Lanarkshire SDS is a dynamic and growing service providing tailored support to adults throughout North and South Lanarkshire. Our teams work alongside individuals living in their own homes to help them maintain independence, improve their health and wellbeing, build community connections and achieve meaningful personal goals.

We're proud that our service has achieved a Grade 5 (Very Good) Care Inspectorate rating, reflecting our commitment to delivering high-quality, personalised support and positive outcomes for the people we work for.

The people we support may have:

• Mental health support needs
• Learning disabilities
• Autism and neurodivergence
• Physical disabilities
• Acquired brain injuries
• Alcohol or substance-related support needs
• Age-related frailty and cognitive decline

The Role

As Health & Wellbeing Manager, you will provide operational and strategic leadership across Lanarkshire SDS, ensuring services remain innovative, responsive and compliant while promoting exceptional outcomes for the people we support.

You will play a key role in delivering Wheatley Care's ambition to provide personalised services, care to be proud of and better lives, helping people achieve independence, choice and control over their future.

You will:

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams across several Lanarkshire locations.
• Drive excellence in person-centred and outcome-focused support practices.
• Champion the principles of Self-Directed Support, choice and independence.
• Develop positive partnerships with health and social care professionals, local authorities, families and community organisations.
• Monitor quality, performance and compliance against Care Inspectorate standards.
• Support and develop Health & Wellbeing Leads and frontline colleagues.
• Take responsibility for service performance, staffing and budget management.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and learning.
• Use customer feedback, insight and lived experience to shape service improvement and enhance outcomes.
• Ensure individuals are supported to maximise opportunities within their local communities and develop meaningful connections.
• Lead services through growth, transformation and positive change.
• Foster an inclusive environment where dignity, respect and safety are fundamental to the support we provide.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a proven leader who combines professional expertise with compassion, resilience and a genuine commitment to improving lives.

You will bring:

• Substantial management experience within social care, health and wellbeing services.
• Strong knowledge of Self-Directed Support principles and legislation.
• Experience supporting people with complex needs in community-based services.
• A track record of delivering high-performing, person-centred services.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance frameworks.
• Experience managing budgets and service performance indicators.
• The ability to influence, inspire and develop successful teams.
• Strong partnership working skills and experience of building effective stakeholder relationships.
• A relevant qualification in Health & Social Care, Leadership and Management or equivalent.
