About the role
The role has a focus on providing a welcoming service to people who are experiencing homelessness and living in our Supported accommodation projects. The Health and Wellbeing Assistant will carry out a daily wellbeing check of residents living in the accommodation and will provide practical assistance/guidance to them with cooking, cleaning etc. when required whilst building up trusting relationships with the people we work for as well as external agencies.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar support environment and a sound understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards. They will work in a trauma‑informed, objective and non‑discriminatory way, recognising the impact of trauma and supporting individuals with empathy, dignity and respect. The postholder will be committed to working positively with a diverse client group and supporting people to live their best lives.
