About Aberlour’s Dumfries and Galloway Services

Our Dumfries and Galloway Services provide support to young people and families throughout Dumfries and Galloway. Our support works alongside families using a strengths based approach within the community and families homes.

In addition to our work with families our community premises is open to all, providing a range of benefits to the communities of Dumfries including community laundry, community clothing, community fridges, IT equipment and library, and our very own café.

What we are looking for....

We are looking to recruit a receptionist to work within our community premise who will work 16 hours per week. These hours will be worked Tuesday- Friday each week, 4 hours per day, however availability can be discussed with the Service Manager during interviews. This post is initially offered on a temporary basis for between 3 - 6 months, with the possibility of this being further extended.

As a first point of contact for members of our community, we are looking for candidates who have customer service experience with excellent communication and organisational skills and are comfortable working with Microsoft Office packages.

You will have a relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 5 or equivalent experience.
