Leith Breakfast Club - Practitioner
Hours 07:15-09:00am Monday - Friday
£15.00 per hour
Role Purpose
The key purpose of the role is to manage the Leith breakfast club. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Organise and record up to date registers of attendance.
· Provide a nutritious balanced breakfast for children prior to the school day.
· Provide a welcoming atmosphere allows children to develop to their full potential.
· Practice understanding of the Care Inspectorate Social Care Standards and SSSC codes of conduct and legislations.
· Maximise the numbers of children attending the setting.
· Ensure the safe collection and transportation of children between the club and school.
· Manage the administration of the setting, keeping relevant records and ensuring that the agreed club procedures are implemented.
· Actively attend club and organisation meetings.
· Maintain good working relationships with other clubs as well as third-party organisations and agencies.
· Identify and develop partnerships internally and throughout the community.
· Act as the initial point of contact for any approaches regarding to the out of school club setting from parents, school staff or any other interested parties.
· Purchase resources, as necessary, within agreed budget with the finance team and keeping appropriate financial records.
