Role Purpose
The key purpose of the role is to work at the Leith breakfast club. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Organise and record up to date registers of attendance.
· Provide a nutritious balanced breakfast for children prior to the school day.
· Provide a welcoming atmosphere that allows children to develop to their full potential.
· Practice understanding of the Care Inspectorate Social Care Standards and SSSC codes of conduct and legislations.
· Support the manager to maximise the numbers of children attending the setting.
· Ensure the safe collection and transportation of children between the club and school.
· Maintain good working relationships with other clubs as well as third-party organisations and agencies.
· Identify and develop partnerships internally and throughout the community.
· Purchase resources, as necessary, within agreed budget with the finance team and keeping appropriate financial records.
