As our enrollments are increasing we require a new manager with excellent organizational and communication skills to lead our small team. The manager will be responsible for delivering a child led service, which at its core places an emphasis on engaging in the natural environment. The manager will ensure that all children feel safe, secure and welcome whilst maintaining high quality care and learning. The manager will be expected to follow best practice by working in partnership with parents and children to develop and maintain a collaborative and responsive service and keep up to date with sector guidelines and developments in policy. The manager will be expected to work with the board of directors to deliver our shared vision. The board of directors are an eclectic group of creative nature lovers, most of us have children and we aim to be as supportive and hands on as our manager needs us to be.

Having opened in 2019 our nursery is still relatively new to Ullapool but we have seen enrollments increase dramatically over the last couple of years due to the excellent reputation of the team we have in place. We encourage applicants with an interest in the outdoors and the ability to work outdoors in all conditions year round. We are committed to providing further training if required. As a Community Interest Company all of our profits will be invested back into the Nursery, particularly into paid members of the team like Managers and practitioners. We aim to support all members of our team to pursue their goals and reach their potential.

You must be registered, or have enough relevant experience and qualifications to become registered, with the SSSC as a nursery manager.
