Lead Playleader/Manager

Kippen Playgroup is currently looking to recruit a Playgroup Leader / Manager to start with immediate effect.

Kippen Playgroup is based in the beautiful village of Kippen nestling in the rural Stirling District. It is a long-established, fun and safe environment that fulfils educational and social needs for 2 to 5 year olds. The outdoor learning ‘Forest Kindergarten’ approach values children’s play with all practice directly relating to a child-led ethos.

We are looking for a committed, caring, enthusiastic person, with a love for nature, mud and bugs. The applicant should have experience of working with children aged 2-5 and have a genuine interest in how children learn and why they love to play, with a particular focus on outdoor learning.

Applicants must possess or be working towards a BA Childhood Practice or equivalent qualifications accepted by SSSC or be willing to acquire one when taking up the position. This post is regulated work with children and is subject to the provisions of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
