Deputy Manager - Liberton After School Club

We are looking for a friendly enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. Are you a passionate, dedicated leader with a commitment to providing high-quality care? Liberton After School Club is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager.

Hours of work during school term: 30 hours per week. Hours during school holidays will vary.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day management of the setting, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Lead and inspire a team of dedicated childcare professionals, promoting a positive and nurturing environment for both staff and children.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality care for children, fostering their development in a safe and supportive setting.

Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to maintain strong community relationships.

Manage administrative duties, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and reporting to the board of trustees.

Develop and implement policies and procedures that reflect best practices in early years education.

Applicants should hold or be willing to work towards a recognised qualification in childcare (SVQ Level 4, BA Childhood Practice, or equivalent).

The successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, register with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) and provide 2 written references.

We offer the living wage or above dependent on qualifications and experience
