Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week term time, overtime may be available

Term: Fixed term contract up to 52 weeks

Pay: £13.50 – £14.70 per hour

Start Date: February 2026

Closing Date: 6pm 15th January 2026

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Qualified Support Worker to cover maternity leave at Peerie Foxes Nursery in Lerwick. The role involves supporting children ages 0 – 4 years in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating early learning and childcare environment. Successful Applicants will be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

· SVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)

· experience in early years childcare

· Friendly, flexible and team orientated approach.
