Possilpark Child and Family Centre
Childcare Worker
Hours: 35hrs per week; 52 weeks a year
Days: Monday- Friday (between 8am to 5.30pm)
Salary: £22,932 per annum
Location: Possilpark, Glasgow
Pension Contribution: 6.55% above the Lower Earnings Limit
Holiday Entitlement: 38 days pro rata
The successful candidate will have SCQF Level 7 SVQ Social Services Children and Young People or equivalent.
The ability to work as part of the childcare team to plan, complete relevant paperwork and deliver a range of activities for children in their early years and for those attending our School Age Childcare service is essential for this post. This requires good communication skills and a working knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence, Pre-birth to three and Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) Wellbeing Indicators.
