About Us
Welcome to The Wendyhouse Nursery School Forfar. We provide high-quality childcare and early education for children from birth to 5 years old, in partnership with Angus Council. We also offer an Out of School Club (8:00–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm) and a Holiday Club (8:00am–5:00pm) for children aged 4 to 12 years, based at Whitehills Primary School.  Established in 2004, our nursery is located in Forfar and offers a homely and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and valued. We provide nutritious, home-cooked lunches as part of our daily care.

Our Environment
Our main stone-built building features large windows that flood the nursery with natural light, creating a bright, calm, and relaxed environment for children to learn and play.  We also have a dedicated baby area with its own separate sleep room, ensuring comfort, privacy, and a peaceful space for our youngest children.

Outdoor Learning
We offer a good-sized outdoor garden where outdoor play and learning are central to our practice. The garden includes slides, swings, a mud kitchen, and a plant-growing area, helping children explore nature and develop physical skills.
We make the most of our surroundings with regular outings in the local community and access to nearby green spaces and parks within easy walking distance.

Funding and Places
We accept all childcare vouchers and offer funded places for 3–5-year-olds. Funded 2-year-old places are also available; please contact us for further information.
As places fill quickly, we recommend enquiring early to secure your preferred sessions and start date.

Opening Hours and Sessions
Opening Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm
Sessions Available: Morning, Afternoon, Full Day, Full Week, and Flexible
Availability: Open 52 weeks per year (closed over Christmas and New Year)
