About Us
Welcome to The Wendyhouse Nursery School Kirriemuir. We provide high-quality childcare and early education for children from birth to 5 years old, in partnership with Angus Council.
We also offer an Out of School Club (8:00–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm) and a Holiday Club (8:00am–5:00pm) for children aged 4 to 12 years. These services are open to all and are based on site, with school pick-ups available from North Muir and South Muir Primary Schools.
Established in 2004, our nursery is located in Kirriemuir and offers a homely, welcoming environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported. We provide nutritious, home-cooked lunches as part of our daily care.

Our Environment
The nursery features large, bright open spaces that have been thoughtfully adapted into smaller, cosy areas to support children’s comfort and wellbeing. Our playrooms are extensively resourced to inspire learning through play, creativity, and exploration.
We also have a separate large ball pool, which is used daily and provides opportunities for physical development and sensory play.

Outdoor Learning
We are proud to offer a large outdoor garden where outdoor play and learning are central to our practice. Our outdoor area includes slides, a climbing castle, a mud kitchen, and a plant-growing area, helping children learn about nature and develop physical skills. Children enjoy cycling and other physical activities, making full use of the space available.
We make the most of our fantastic surroundings and regularly take children on outings within the local community. We also have access to a variety of green spaces and parks within easy walking distance.

Funding and Places
We accept all childcare vouchers and offer funded places for 3–5-year-olds. Funded 2-year-old places are also available; please contact us for further information.
As our spaces fill quickly, we recommend enquiring as early as possible to secure your preferred sessions and start date.
