Woodland Outdoor Kindergartens

Established in 2009, Woodland Outdoor Kindergartens is an outdoor early learning and childcare provider with two Kindergartens in Glasgow, one in the south side of the city and one in the west end. Both Kindergartens offer outdoor nursery provision where children spend their days playing and learning within beautiful, stimulating woodland environments. We work in partnership with Glasgow City Council to provide funded early learning and childcare for children aged 3–5. 

Woodland Outdoor Kindergartens: South Side also offers limited places for children aged 2–5, where children spend their day within our base and garden. 
Our practice is rooted in Froebelian principles, with a strong focus on play-based, child-led learning that supports independence, resilience, confidence, and a meaningful connection to nature.
