Duration: Part Time (25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year), Fixed Term up to March 31st 2026

Location: Aberdeen city centre

Job Purpose:

To engage with young people who use Aberdeen city centre and develop positive relationships with them. To offer young people support and guidance and develop opportunities for them to take part in recreational and educational activities based on their needs.

The post holder is expected to demonstrate:

An ability to relate well to young people.

An ability to support, motivate and, where necessary, challenge young people.

A commitment to the personal and social development of young people.

An ability to communicate with a wide range of professional staff from a variety of disciplines and agencies.

An ability to use computer applications, e.g. MS Office, for writing reports and maintaining records.

An ability to work with challenging individuals.

An ability to promote inclusion and equality.

An ability to be creative and show initiative.

An ability to work as part of a team.
