Duration: Fixed Term for 2 years, Full Time

About the role

The purpose of the role is to provide professional, impartial, outcome focused money advice to families up to Type 2 under the Scottish National Standards for Advice and Information Providers.

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

Educated to standard grade or equivalent.

The postholder is able to demonstrate:

Experience of Money and Welfare Benefits Information and Advice (National Standards) up to and including type 2

Ability to work alone and use initiative.

Ability to write letters and reports.

Ability to liaise and work effectively with a variety of agencies and colleagues.

Carrying out diagnostic interviews to identify customer’s problems and related issues.

High level of organisation and time management skills

Using a variety of ICT software packages

Proven organisational skills

Proven communication skills

Proven attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

An ability to work co-operatively and flexibly

A focus on delivering excellent customer service

Comply with GDPR, ICT and Health and Safety

Homelessness and Housing related legislation
