Location: The Learning Hub, Croft Road, Aberdeen
Duration: Fixed Term, Part Time - 18.5 hours per week
Job Purpose:
To work as a member of the Learning and Development team in carrying out the
assessment of training needs, research and preparation of training activities and
materials, and then delivery. Team members will provide, develop and support
verification / assessment of practice to relevant staff internally and externally
Requirements
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
SVQ level 4 in L&D (or recognised equivalent) or willingness to obtain
SVQ Assessor Award (SCQF level 8 & 9) or willingness to obtain
SVQ Verifier Award (SCQF level 8 & 9) or willingness to obtain
Responsibilities
The post holder will be expected to demonstrate the ability to:
Think and act strategically, aligning learning and development solutions and best practice to national, local and Bon Accord Care policies and procedures
Work with people at all levels, motivating, altering attitudes and driving high quality change through effective interpersonal skills
Promote and endorse learning and development, Bon Accord Care and its related services both within the organisation and externally
Pro-actively develop and maintain own knowledge and skills to deliver effective learning solutions
Problem-solve using innovative and high impact solutions
Ensure that all learning programs are aligned to current best practice, in line with current theoretical, legislative evidence-based best practice
Demonstrate key skills in organising, prioritising own workload and managing multiple demands and projects
Utilise resources to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Be a highly skilled communicator and networker, who is flexible, creative and motivated to take projects from concept to implementation
