Splash Café – Stonehaven Open Air Pool
Seasonal Position (May–September)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Cook to join our team at Splash Café, located within Stonehaven Open Air Pool. This is a seasonal role running from the end of May until September. The café operates 7 days per week, from 10:00 to 17:00.
Splash Café offers a popular menu including burgers, hotdogs, chips, paninis, toasties, homemade soup and homemade cakes. We are seeking someone who can contribute to delivering high-quality food and friendly service throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening the café and kitchen and preparing the area for service
- Food preparation and short-order cooking
- Ensuring compliance with the Food Safety Management System
- Completing all required record-keeping, including temperature checks and cleaning schedules
- Supervising front-of-house staff and supporting overall service delivery
Hours
This is a 25-hour role, worked over three days each week, including alternate weekends.
Additional hours may be available/necessary as this location can be weather dependent.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
