Job Description
An opportunity has arisen within the Private Sector Housing team for a part-time Assistant Housing Officer.
You would provide efficient and effective support to the Housing Officers and the Senior Housing Officer within the Private Sector Housing Team, you will maintain the online Landlord Registration database and provide a front line service to service users. You will be required to process all landlord registration applications, ensuring applicants comply with all registration requirements, process payments and respond to all enquiries relating to the landlord registration process. You will investigate unregistered landlords and encourage them to register or refer to Housing Officers as necessary. You will be the first point of contact for colleagues, partners, visitors, callers and enquiries, responding appropriately by providing advice and assistance or re-directing as appropriate.
You will also provide admin support to the Private Sector Housing Team.
A key part of the Private Sector Housing Team is to help improve the standards in the Private Sector.
The working days for this post are flexible
