Provide care and support to service users within a very sheltered housing facility.
One position for 30 hours per week - Working Pattern This post consists of waking nightshifts from 9.15pm to 7.45am allowing for a half hour unpaid break within the shift. Flexibility is important because this post has no set rota and 30 hours will be allocated at least a month in advance where possible to allow cover for absence and annual leave. Shifts will include weekends and public holidays where required.
One position for 17.50 hours per week - Working Pattern This post consists of waking nightshifts from 9.15pm to 7.45am which allows a half hour unpaid break during the shift. Flexibility is required as although the rota is set it is an 8 week rolling rota covering different days of the week including weekends and public holidays.

Requirements
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.  Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
This post will require you to have obtained SSSC registration within 3 months of employment.
This post has a minimum requirement of two references, one of these must be your current or most recent employer.
