Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available to join Aberdeenshire Council as a Council & Partnership Analyst (Place). As a Council & Partnership analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our place and data strategies. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to inform our Place Plans and the wider Place Strategy.

Your insights will help shape the future of our places, providing strong local data, to make data at the forefront of our decision-making processes. The successful candidate will support the implementation of the Council’s data strategy, through identification, documentation and analysis of internal data sources related to Place. We believe that data is a powerful tool to drive our vision forward, and we are looking for a talented Council & Partnership Analyst to join our team.

This post is critical to the Transformation programme currently underway in Aberdeenshire Council and is aligned to the Data theme of the Data, Digital and Technology workstream.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proficiency in Power BI and other data visualisation tools. If you are passionate about making a difference and using creative and innovative solutions to improve outcomes for Aberdeenshire communities, please get in touch.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
