Job Description
The Sir Arthur Grant Residential Outdoor Centre will be hosting many schools for residential visits – particularly in term 4 (April, May and June). A pool of relief staff is required to share the shifts.
Some of the hours available will be for cleaning only and these will largely be on Mondays and Fridays for around 4 hours at a time – start and finish times can be flexible to some extent.
Some of the other hours available will be approximately 7:30am to 10:30am and / or 4pm to 6pm on weekdays. Work during these hours will involve serving breakfasts and evening meals and clearing away. Other small cleaning tasks will also be required as necessary. It would be very useful if applicants looking to do these hours already held the REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene certification, but training can be given.
It would be very helpful if you were able to give an idea of your general availability in your application.
Please note: There is no public transport to the centre.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
