Job Description
We are looking for an Education Support Officer to join our fast paced, dynamic and nurturing Whole Family Wellbeing department.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team to support Aberdeenshire schools to identify, plan for and meet additional support needs, specifically around the creation of Umbrella Groups in Secondary Schools. In addition to this, there will be an aspect of supporting parents by linking them with experts and providing workshops to support their neurodiverse children and young people.
The base for this position will be flexible with the option of hybrid working.
A strong commitment to Inclusion and Getting It Right for Every Child, and a good working knowledge of inclusive practice and trauma informed procedures, are essential.
Salary for this post will be in accordance with SNCT agreements. Applicants must be or eligible to be fully GTC Scotland registered.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation. The chosen candidate will be working within the Foundation Apprenticeship Team.
