Job Description

Come and join the Enterprising Aberdeenshire team and be a catalyst for community enterprise success! Enterprising Aberdeenshire is a project behind local enterprise activities, supporting pre-startup and existing businesses by supporting their ambitions and creating and nurturing a culture of collaboration and entrepreneurship.

You will work within the community by supporting aspiring and existing business owners from one-to-one support to creating events and activities driven by demand.

As a member of our team working within the Economic Development department of Aberdeenshire Council, you'll be at the forefront of supporting pre-start and aspiring business owners, providing personalised guidance, and organising engaging events to foster entrepreneurship within the heart of Aberdeenshire.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation

This position is primarily based in North Aberdeenshire, with the designated office located in the Banff & Buchan area. The role involves supporting colleagues across Aberdeenshire and requires regular travel within the community, including visits to libraries and other local facilities. While the official base is in Banff & Buchan, the role is hybrid in nature, offering flexibility for home working or office-based work depending on your preferred working style.

This role may require flexible, evening and weekend working on occasion.

We welcome secondment opportunities for internal candidates.
