Job Description

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Advisor to join our People service within Legal and People Services. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to deliver expert practical HR advice to managers throughout the Council, contributing to the continuous improvement and effective management of our workforce.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing professional HR guidance and support to managers across the Council
  • Delivering high quality advice on performance, attendance, and complex employee matters
  • Engaging early and intervening proactively to resolve case work
  • Ensuring consistent and effective management of both short and long-term employee issues
  • Promoting best practice and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Actively participating in the Employee Relations team, with opportunities for rotation into other HR Advisor roles

Salary & Application Details
