Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Team Leader (Resourcing) to lead and manage the Council’s Resourcing Team within HR. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for delivering effective corporate workforce planning, recruitment strategies, driving the corporate people strategy and high-quality resourcing solutions across Aberdeenshire Council.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide expert advice to managers, directors and committees on resourcing strategy, improvement programmes and operational issues, while leading a team that plays a critical role in supporting the organisation’s workforce needs.
You will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to quality service delivery, continuous improvement and best value, contributing positively to both service and corporate objectives. The HR Service is currently in review and the post may change in scope and nature and the post holder may be involved in rotation to other HR Team Leader posts at the same grade.

The annual salary details are based on the new hourly rates that come into effect on 01/04/2026.
