Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Application Development Analyst to take lead responsibility in key areas of ongoing application development, maintenance, and support. The Application Development Team are delivering key areas of transformation for the council. The Senior Application Development Analyst will take a leading role in delivering key transformational technologies to the business, with a focus on strategic use of the Power Platform.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a excellent technical knowledge of the Microsoft Graph API, the Azure platform, and Modern .NET. It is also highly desirable to have a working knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework, and Dynamics for Customer Service / Omnichannel. A good understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI is also desirable. The ability to manage both their own workload and that of team members is key element of this post, as is an ability to build excellent relationships with customers and project stakeholders.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
This post requires a Disclosure Scotland Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of this check being deemed satisfactory.
This post is subject to the Baseline Personnel Security Standards (BPSS) checks. This check includes Right to Work in the UK, Verification of Identity, a Basic Disclosure Scotland Check, and verification of 3 years Employment History.
