Landscape Operative

Job Description

Do you enjoy working outdoors and making a difference in your local community? We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Landscape Operative to join our team.

Working as part of a team, you will help maintain parks, playing fields, landscaped areas and other public open spaces. Duties include grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, pruning, leaf and litter clearance, and assisting with grave digging operations. You will also safely operate landscaping equipment and machinery, undertake routine maintenance checks, and follow all health and safety procedures.

The role involves regular physical work in all weather conditions and requires a commitment to delivering high-quality services. As a representative of the Council, you will also be expected to interact with members of the public in a polite and professional manner.
