Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused individual to join our Pay & Reward team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting organisational change and corporate transformation activity across Aberdeenshire Council. Working within a small specialist team, you will help maintain and assure the quality of establishment and organisational structure information held within our corporate systems, ensuring that data is accurate, reliable and supports effective decision-making.

The role combines information management, business systems administration and analytical work. As well as maintaining organisational structures and establishment data, you will support the production of management information, assist with data extraction and reporting activities, and contribute to the development of processes that improve data quality and organisational governance.

Requirements

This post has a minimum requirement of one reference, which must be your current or most recent employer. 

The Individual

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with information, solving problems and identifying opportunities for improvement. You should be comfortable working with large datasets and business systems, have strong attention to detail, and be able to interpret information to support operational and strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will work closely with managers, HR colleagues and services across the Council, supporting service review activity and wider corporate change programmes. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to develop their experience in workforce information, business systems, reporting and organisational governance.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience of working with information within corporate systems or databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other business software to analyse and report information.
  • The ability to interpret data and present information clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
